Wow, this will be so much easier than the way I used to publish this stuff, I may actually run out of excuses for not doing more projects. Beginning several years ago, I set out to build stuff. Out of wood. With tools. The mission style bed was first and I can’t honestly recommend starting with a bed if you are going to delve into the world of woodworking. It’s serious. Then, of course, I had to make night tables as well, which was considerably easier, and then the dining table, which is made of about the densest wood I’ve ever seen, lifted, etc.. Also, I made all of these projects on the back deck of our apartment building, which was not ideal. About 10′ x 14′, I believe and it was summer when I would do them. And the deck faced west, so… it got pretty hot in the afternoons back there. Now I have my own little “workshop” – a garage too small to store either car.
